Alchemy is the lost esoteric knowledge of turning lead into gold and the search for the philosophers stone. At least that is the public perception, but real ALCHEMY is an inner process of turning gross matter into finer spirit.
Alchemy has a long a varied history but the real secrets are known to only a few, hence there are many misconceptions, dead ends, and red herrings to throw the curious of the scent.
I have lived many incarnations and I can now reveal I am also known as The Alchemist of Oxford in England among other “names” but I also practiced in Prague. I am here at this time in the earths evolution to help with the spiritual progression of mankind from the dense physical “prima materia” to the refined Gold, and for that end I have had to wear many masks to hide my true presence from the profane.
I have walked amongst you for many thousands of years in different forms, both physical and spiritual, and my spiritual essence has materialised through the rivers of time to those that have been chosen among you.
Alchemy in its past form started in Egypt where I was a High Priest of The Sphinx and protector & guardian of the secrets. The word derives from Arabic, “Al – Khemiya” which means “The dark Soil of Egypt”. It is the noble art of transformation. Alchemy has four stages:
- Nigredo is the first stage this means “a blackening”, the first step is calcination , the symbol is fire, and an upward pointing triangle, the salamander, dragon, the sun. The second step is dissolution, the symbol is the downward pointing triangle this is water. Dissolution frees the soul.
- Albedo is the second stage of transformation. This is known as the “whitening” This remove impurities from the soul, this is represented by Air. The first step is separation, in alchemical imagery you will see pictures of men fighting dragons, this is allegorical for a forceful act of separation. The second step is conjunction, it is the hermetic wedding of different elements (think the Chemical Wedding) The imagery is of a King (Sun) and Queen (Moon) this is the anima and animas of the soul, the twin parts.
- Citrinitas is the third stage. After purification the raw essences begin to turn into Gold. Citrinitas means “yellowing” The first step is coagulation, the second step is sublimination.
- Rubebo is the fourth stage. Meaning “redness” , the end of The Great Work for which we all strive. The first step is fermentation, the next step is distillation, to puryfy and concentrate.
As above so below, the aethrs of the spiritual essence manifest as heavenly dew on the souls of the righteous….
“Quod est superius est sicut quod inferius, et quod inferius est sicut quod est superius.”
“That which is above is like to that which is below, and that which is below is like to that which is above.”
